What happens when iconic design meets exclusive hospitality? A collection that combines Swiss craftsmanship, style and tradition in the most charming way. The limited special edition by Tiger Swiss for Baur au Lac is more than just a fashion statement – it is a tribute to two brands that shape the Swiss way of life in their own unique way.
The Tigerfinkli has long been more than just a slipper. Since its origins in 1890 – back then under the Bally brand in Schönenwerd near Zurich – the shoe has become iconic. Generations of children (and quite a few adults) have grown up with it. Now the legendary Mary Jane model is experiencing a stylish renaissance.
The classic shoe has been reissued for the Baur au Lac, a hotel steeped in tradition and one of Switzerland’s finest establishments since 1844. Made from high-quality recycled canvas, the shoe is a delicate light blue with elegant off-white piping and the characteristic pompom. The flexible rubber sole makes the model suitable for wearing around town – whether for relaxed afternoons by the lake or stylish days in the city.
Produced in Portugal and limited to just 250 pairs, the special edition is a real collector’s item. Available in sizes 24 to 41, the shoe is ideal for both young and old, or for mothers and daughters. The exclusive charm starts at CHF 95.00.
The special edition is available now in the hotel’s own kiosk at the Baur au Lac and online at bauraulac.ch. But hurry, for they are as coveted as they are rare!
