The winter classic shows that it has plenty to offer in summer: St. Moritz attracts visitors with its relaxed atmosphere and lively, varied programme of events. An atmospheric mix of nature experiences, culinary highlights, exercise and cultural events.
When the vast alpine landscape meets urban sophistication, a fascinating interplay of contrasts emerges: between summit ascents and moments of pleasure, yoga flow and roaring engines, architectural icons and food festivals. At an altitude of 1,856 metres and with more than 300 days of sunshine a year, St. Moritz shows off all it has to offer, all year round.
A gourmet culinary journey through St. Moritz
The ‘Tavolata St. Moritz’ (23 – 27 July 2025) transforms Via Maistra into a festive open-air dining table – with Swiss stone pine tables, BBQs, street food, pop-up dining, and DJs. At the same time, the summer markets from June to September invite you to stroll around and enjoy regional crafts, live music, and charming café trailers such as the ‘Rosa Mammut’.
Engines generate the atmosphere
At the ‘Bernina Gran Turismo’(18 – 21 September), classic sports cars combine with the spectacular backdrop of the Bernina Road – motor racing in the high mountains. This is followed in October by the Health & Longevity Forum (18 – 21 October), where international experts discuss health, nutrition, and future trends.
History that combines luxury and art
St. Moritz can look back on over 3,400 years of history centred around its healing springs – and the town has been considered the cradle of winter tourism since 1864. Today, the resort is known for its successful combination of elegance, tradition and pioneering spirit.
Renowned hotels such as the Kulm, Badrutt’s Palace, and Suvretta House embody this combination of classic style and modern comfort. Exclusive boutiques, galleries such as Vito Schnabel’s, the Segantini and Engadine museums, and popular venues such as Café Hanselmann characterise the urban experience in the Alps
