Yet to plan your summer holiday? Here’s a tip: a luxury resort on the Aegean Sea, a hill with a view of the sea – and some of the biggest names in international music: the Sani Festival on the Greek peninsula of Chalkidiki is considered a cultural gem of the Mediterranean.
From 12 July to 23 August 2025, the award-winning Sani Resort will once again be transformed into an open-air stage that will play host to a series of legends – from Grace Jones to Nouvelle Vague to Norah Jones. The festival is now making a big announcement with an exciting new programme: Grace Jones, the style-defining grande dame of disco, new wave and performance art, will perform on 2 August. Her shows are cult – uncompromising, extravagant, iconic. On 9 August, French band Nouvelle Vague will then bring their unique bossa nova sound to Sani – breathing new life into songs by Depeche Mode and The Clash.
Other top acts already confirmed include Norah Jones (19 July), Gloria Gaynor (26 July), the Gipsy Kings (16 August), and the Buena Vista All Stars (12 July). The grand finale on 23 August will honour the great Greek songwriter Lina Nikolakopoulou.
For over 30 years, the Sani Festival has been bringing world-class music to a setting that is second to none: Mediterranean luxury, an intimate atmosphere, and an open-air stage. A festival for people who don’t just consume culture, but who celebrate it.
