The Rome Cavalieri is home to an impressive private art collection of over a thousand masterpieces.
Counterfeit money is not quite the right term, but when Andy Warhol designed his own dollar bills, he created real value. These works of art can only be found in the Rome Cavalieri hotel in Rome. It is home to one of the largest private art collections in the world with more than a thousand exhibits from the 16th century to the present day.
The exhibits are extremely diverse: a ballet costume worn by the legendary Nureyev, valuable glassware by Art Nouveau pioneer Emile Gallé, a French Rococo-style commode that ended up in Rome having previously belonged to the Rothschild family at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. And most valuable of all: three paintings by the late Baroque painter Giovanni Battista Tiepolo.
