Ovéa Paros: Boutique Luxury Between Naoussa and the Aegean

Paros has long been one of the most exciting islands in the Cyclades. While many visitors still look to Mykonos and Santorini, the island has in recent years developed into a quieter alternative, combining authentic character, lively villages and a growing design and gastronomy scene. With Ovéa Paros, a new boutique hotel has now opened on the island. Just a few minutes from Naoussa, the property combines contemporary Cycladic architecture with spacious retreats and views across the island’s landscape.

Set on a plot of around 19,000 square metres, the hotel comprises just 21 suites and villas. Instead of dense development, open spaces, gardens and the typical Cycladic landscape define its appearance. Natural stone, light plaster surfaces and a restrained material palette take up the island’s architecture and translate it into a contemporary form.

All accommodations feature private outdoor areas, with many also offering their own plunge pools. Spacious terraces and fluid transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces create an atmosphere more reminiscent of a private holiday home than a classic hotel. The design remains deliberately understated, allowing light, materials and views to take centre stage.

At the heart of the culinary offering is the restaurant KOA. Its cuisine is inspired by the traditions of the Greek islands and focuses on regional products, fresh fish, herbs and seasonal ingredients. Familiar flavours are interpreted in a contemporary way without losing sight of their origins. The restaurant sees itself as a homage to the culinary traditions of the Aegean and to the products that have shaped island kitchens for generations.

The offer is complemented by a 25-metre infinity pool overlooking the Aegean, various wellness and training areas, and extensive gardens. Despite its peaceful location, Naoussa, with its tavernas, cafés, boutiques and harbour, is only a few minutes away. It is precisely this combination of retreat and proximity that gives the hotel its particular appeal.
