Royal rallies from Paris to Saint Tropez
More than 20 years ago, France took a pioneering step with the launch of the Rallye des Princesses Richard Mille, an exclusive women-only motorsport event. From Paris to Saint Tropez, participants glide elegantly over 1,500 kilometres of French asphalt in their classic cars. The most important qualities here are skill, a sense of direction and inner calm. In this rally, it is not the fastest driver who wins, but the most precise – the one who maintains the most constant average speed possible. This means that the navigational skills of the co-driver are particularly important. The Rallye des Princesses is distinguished by its ‘elegance’. The event leads the way for women in motorsports and creates an exclusive space for women who share a passion for vintage and classic cars.

Arlberg Classic Car Rally 2025 – classic cars, the Alps, adventure
In June, Lech Zürs am Arlberg will become its very own motor museum for the 16th time, a place where elegant cars meet spectacular Alpine scenery. And the focus here is not on speed, but on style, precision and the pure joy of driving. The rally starts in Lech on 26 June 2025 and continues over the Arlberg Pass to St. Christoph and on to St. Anton. This year’s motto is “Back to the roots” and, as every year, race director Armin Schwarz’s team has devised a route that challenges and inspires – participants will travel past the idyllic mountain villages of Fiss and Ladis, and continue through the Inntal, where the pass over the Hahntennjoch provides the indisputable highlight of the journey.
The second day follows the Via Claudia Augusta, a route with a history that you not only drive, but truly feel. The route is lined with charming mountain villages, impressive mountain panoramas and roads that wind almost endlessly into the sky. Drivers with a feel for the perfect line set themselves apart here. Once the sun sets behind the mountains, the rally party begins. On day three, the route takes drivers through the Lechtal Valley towards the Tyrolean Alps: from Garmisch, past the Eibsee lake and over the Fernpass. All roads lead to the grande finale: a gala evening, award ceremony and one last toast to an event that is not just a rally, but an authentic classic car experience.

Full moon, full throttle: the Moonwalk Trophy
Screeching tyres, howling engines and a full moon that reflects on the bonnet – an experience that you will not forget in a hurry. The Moonwalk Trophy has been held in Switzerland since 1998. However, the rally’s starting point and final destination remain top secret until ten days before the start! This year’s trophy kicks off on the Friday afternoon of 4 July 2025. Awaiting participants at the finish line on Saturday morning: a stylish champagne breakfast by the sea. But how do you win the coveted moonlight trophy? The organisers have come up with a special challenge – drivers have to answer five to ten questions along the way. However, these puzzles can only be solved correctly by taking the right route. A road book is provided with the questions as well as space for the answers. The remaining time allows for an enjoyable drive through the (still secret) Swiss mountain passes and some breathtaking landscapes. As with many things in life, the journey is the real goal. Because in the end, the experience itself is more important than being first over the line – the roar of the engine, the roads of the night and the freedom that comes with every curve.

A thousand miles, two constants: classic cars and Italian roads
The sound of roaring engines, the flair of an Italian piazza, the scent of cypress trees and the sea air, it’s time for one of Italy’s historic classic and vintage car events. The legendary Mille Miglia race pays homage to Italy’s roads, culture and automotive history, starting and finishing in the city of Brescia. In 2025, the 1000 Miglia will take place from 17 to 21 June with participants following a breathtaking route from Bologna via Rome to the sea at Milano Marittima, before returning to Brescia via Parma. A particular highlight of this historic race is the turnaround point in Rome. Participants go full throttle towards the Colosseum, past the Roman Forum, and then turn back towards Lombardy – a unique experience for drivers and spectators alike. The first race took place in 1927, with participants tackling the 1,600-kilometre route for the first time – a distance approximately equal to the 1,000 English and Roman miles that give the race its name. But the 1000 Miglia is not just about speed; Italian flair, elegance and tradition win the day here.
