If you don’t want to let go of summer just yet and fancy a Mediterranean autumn, a special event in Tuscany awaits you.

The second edition of Villa La Massa Excellence, where modern classics take centre stage, will take place from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 October 2024 at Villa La Massa, an architectural jewel of the Medici era.

Three days of horsepower and culinary delights

For three days, the spotlight will be on coupés and the like. Florence, the former capital of Italy, also known as the cradle of the Renaissance, will open its doors for the second meeting of the most elegant sports cars from the 1990s to the 2000s. The Ferrari F40 prototype emerged as the winner of the Coppa d’Oro Villa La Massa in 2023, a title inspired by the Concorso d’Eleganza, one of the most exclusive classic car meetings in the world. At the end of the weekend, a jury of automotive experts and well-known personalities from the worlds of sport, gastronomy and culture will present prizes to the winners in the various categories. This year, there will also be a special Junior Jury Award, with children selecting their favourite car and presenting the award.

Delights of Tuscan cuisine

The organisers ensure that guests can enjoy the dolce vita to the full in the shade of the Tuscan cypress trees. The festival weekend starts with an exclusive reception and dinner on the panoramic terrace of the hotel’s restaurant, Il Verecchio. On Saturday, Michelin-starred chef Vito Mollica invites guests to an exclusive gourmet dinner at his restaurant Atto in the Palazzo Portinari Salviati, where he will guide them through the flavours of the region. As the morning sun bathes the hills of Mugello in warm light, the sports car owners start their engines to prepare for a journey reminiscent of the legendary routes of the 1000 Miglia.
