Pasta, pizza, amore – GaultMillau is bringing Italian lifestyle to Switzerland with Bella Italia!’. The newly published special guide presents the 150 best Italian restaurants in the country – from simple trattorias to elegant gourmet temples.

In collaboration with Cornèrcard, GaultMillau presents a charming tribute to Italian cuisine – and a practical companion for anyone who wants to eat well and discover some new favourite places.

The handy booklet shows that Italian cuisine is not only popular in Switzerland, but also has many different interpretations. Whether hand-made pasta, perfectly baked pizza or Sicilian street food, the cuisine offers plenty to explore throughout the country. Starting with 100 addresses in German-speaking Switzerland and 25 each in French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino, new highlights will be added every year.

More than just a restaurant guide

In addition to restaurant recommendations, the guide features reports on Italian regions renowned for their cuisine, profiles of winemakers, olive oil producers and cheesemakers – a culinary journey from Puglia to Piedmont.

The project is cross-media: print, digital, event collaborations and supported by trusted partners. The delicate pink pages are a nod to the iconic Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport. The guide is supported by partners such as Cornèrcard, a provider with a focus on enjoyment and lifestyle that regularly promotes high-quality food initiatives.

The result is a complete package that not only whets the appetite but also encourages readers to try something new – whether in Zurich, Lugano or Lausanne.
