Six metropolises, six perspectives, one central question: how does design today shape our future between craftsmanship, industry and urban lifestyles?
PRAGUE IN DESIGN MODE
From October 7 to 11, 2026, Prague once again becomes a hub for design. As part of the established Designblok – Prague International Design Festival, everything revolves around glass, porcelain, fashion and progressive product design, spanning locations from Prague Castle to the Trade Fair Palace and the Museum of Decorative Arts. Renowned manufacturers present their latest collections alongside emerging studios. The programme includes talks, awards and fashion shows.
TUTTO MILANO
From April 21 to 26, 2026, Milan transforms into the global stage of furniture design. Beyond the trade fair at Rho Fiera, the Salone del Mobile.Milano turns the entire city into a network of installations, showrooms and temporary projects. Palazzi, courtyards and former industrial halls host exhibitions, performances and encounters that make Milan a true cultural epicentre.
DUBAI AT FULL SCALE
From November 3 to 8, 2026, Dubai Design Week once again brings together design from the Middle East and beyond. The focus is on the curated fair Downtown Design, the material showcase Editions, and large-scale installations in the Dubai Design District. Talks, workshops and public projects transform the city into an international showcase for architecture, product and material design over six days.
VISIONARY EINDHOVEN
Eindhoven is always worth a visit — but from October 17 to 25, 2026, the city enters a state of creative exception during Dutch Design Week. In former Philips factories, at Strijp‑S and across the city’s museums, an international young scene gathers — presenting not just products, but perspectives. More than 2,600 designers, including highly talented graduates of the Design Academy, showcase prototypes, material studies and visions for a sustainable future. For nine days, the city becomes a dense network of discourse, experimentation and urban energy.
ENTHUSIASM IN COPENHAGEN
From June 10 to 12, 2026, 3daysofdesign once again opens Copenhagen’s doors to international furniture and design enthusiasts. During Denmark’s design week, the city becomes a meeting point for established brands and emerging talents. Showrooms, studios and temporary exhibitions across the city present new collections, prototypes and material experiments. Talks, presentations and workshop visits offer deeper insights into design processes and current developments.
NORDIC CONNECTIONS
What began as a small initiative has grown into Iceland’s most important design platform and a fixed date in the cultural calendar. From May 6 to 10, 2026, more than 100 exhibitions, talks, open studios and interventions animate Reykjavík’s compact old town — mostly walkable, often process-driven. Under the theme “Connections,” the DesignMarch festival explores how design can create relationships in a connected yet increasingly distant world — between people, materials, landscapes and ideas. Cities thrive on networks, architecture on use, and design on real connection. The opening highlight is the “DesignTalks” conference at Harpa Concert Hall by the harbour, featuring speakers such as Stefan Sagmeister, Dorte Mandrup and Hjalti Karlsson. In the following days, studios, galleries and temporary installations open their doors. Volcanic materials, wool, industrial by-products and circular strategies define the aesthetic — a reduced formal language responding to resource scarcity and climate challenges.
