Autumn in Prague will be golden and creative. The Czech capital will once again become a European hotspot for design and culture, presenting inspiring art and light installations by up-and-coming talents and global icons.
The Czech design and creative scene is booming. It thrives on centuries-old traditional craftsmanship – glass, furniture, cubism – and at the same time on a new generation of talent that is making Prague one of the most exciting creative centres in Central Europe. International networks, first-class education at schools such as UMPRUM, and a lively scene of studios, co-working spaces and festivals create a unique field of tension where tradition meets innovation. Prague provides both the stage and the backdrop. Nowhere is this more impressive than at Design Autumn. Our top Prague event tips at a glance.
