Hotel Jules César, devised by designer Christian Lacroix, is known for its fusion of glamour and opulence.
Unusual patterns, bright colours and imaginative details give each of Lacroix’s works an unmistakable style. For the Hotel Jules César in Arles, he combined Provençal and monastic styles with contemporary art to create a poetic and timeless ambiance.
Back to the roots
For Lacroix, who hails from Arles, it was important to pay homage to the regional culture. When designing the interiors, he combined antique and modern furniture, with bold colours and luxurious fabrics creating an eclectic atmosphere in the rooms.
