There is a new star in Val Terbi in the canton of Jura, a property that promises ‘new luxury’ with purpose.
A dream destination where elegance and wildness blend together in harmony – that is the aspiration behind the transformation of the Château de Raymontpierre. Surrounded by 650 hectares of forest, the term ‘private hideaway’ couldn’t be more accurate here. The main building, which was built between 1595 and 1600, now offers space for six rooms and eight suites in addition to the public rooms. Furthermore, a new outbuilding, La Grange, has been created to house eight more rooms. The deluxe agritourism concept is complemented by one of the most modern stables in Switzerland, which is used by the Wenger family. The combination of luxury estate and farm allows for seasonal and regional farmhouse cuisine with a modern touch.
The château is not only about holidays in harmony with nature, it is also suitable for private parties and incentives. Due to the size of the castle, it is only possible to accommodate smaller groups of up to 28 people, but they do say good things come in small packages. Whether it’s a farmhouse breakfast outdoors, an intimate wedding in the chapel, a culinary evening by the fire ring or an idyllic picnic on the meadow, memorable experiences are made here.
Château de Raymontpierre also offers the perfect setting for retreats. The first exciting events are already on the programme for this summer.
