When historic Alfa Romeos take to some of Europe’s most famous racetracks for a showdown, there is more than just a hint of nostalgia in the air. The Alfa Revival Cup has long been established as a high-stakes motorsport event – a far cry from a colourful vintage car parade.

The 2025 season promises to be a thrilling one: six races at some of Italy’s most famous circuits, including Vallelunga, Misano, Imola and Mugello, as well as prestigious racing venues such as the Red Bull Ring and Spa-Francorchamps.

Timing is everything

The Alfa Revival Cup attracts a great deal of media attention, not least because it has been cleverly integrated into major classic car events. The races take place at the same time as exclusive events for classic cars, such as the Red Bull Ring Classics, the Imola Classic and the Spa Six Hours, which attract teams and drivers from all over Europe. Classic Alfa Romeos such as the legendary GTAm, the agile Sprint GTA and the Giulia Super are driven as once intended – close to the absolute limit.

Fierce battles are inevitable

The balance between sporting ambition and an appreciation for automotive heritage is what makes the Alfa Revival Cup so special. Each race is limited to one hour, including a tactical driver change – no marathons, but intense, strategic duels.

Professional technology meets amateur passion

The technology comes from established teams such as OKP Alfa Delta Racing, Jolly Car Squadra Corse and Formula GT, which means that the cars on the starting line have been prepared to a high standard. However, the Alfa Revival Cup still retains its amateur spirit with ordinary drivers showing the passion and skill to remain competitive. This is what makes the series so charming and authentic.

When does it start?

The racing season begins at the Red Bull Ring at the end of April and ends in September at Spa. Visitors can look forward to special motorsport events that are both challenging and stylishly unassuming.
